These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of garagedoorsheriff.com and to the text messaging program described below. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by Garage Door Sheriff, a brand of AM Pro Services Group LLC, 516 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052.

The content on this site is general information about garage doors and our services. It is not a diagnosis or advice about your garage door. Only an inspection of your garage door can tell you its condition.

Sending a request through the contact form does not create an appointment. We will contact you to confirm scheduling, and your appointment is not confirmed until we do. Services are provided under a separate agreement or estimate with you.

Please give accurate contact details and do not send requests on behalf of someone else without their permission. Do not use the form for emergencies. If someone is hurt or trapped, call 911, and do not try to move a door that is stuck, off its track or has a broken spring.

Program and sender. Garage Door Sheriff, operated by AM Pro Services Group LLC, sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who opt in. Garage Door Sheriff, 516 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052. Our text messaging program is being set up and is not yet active; no messages are sent until it is. Support: office@garagedoorsheriff.com.

Two separate, optional choices. On the contact form you can choose (1) non-marketing text messages about scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, service updates, and follow-up related to your request, and (2) marketing text messages about seasonal garage door maintenance reminders, special offers and promotions. Each is a separate checkbox, neither is checked by default, and you can submit the form without checking either one. We send marketing text messages only if you checked the marketing box. A phone number alone is not consent to receive text messages. Consent is not a condition of requesting service or buying any service. Agreeing to these Terms & Conditions is not a substitute for these separate text message choices.

Consent wording. The checkboxes on the form read as follows:

• Service and coordination texts (non-marketing). I agree to receive non-marketing text messages from Garage Door Sheriff, operated by AM Pro Services Group LLC, at the phone number I entered, about scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, service updates and follow-up related to my request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.
• Marketing texts. I agree to receive marketing text messages from Garage Door Sheriff, operated by AM Pro Services Group LLC, at the phone number I entered, about seasonal garage door maintenance reminders, special offers and promotions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time.

Our record of your choices. For each request we keep a private, admin-only record of your text message choices: a Yes or No for each box, the wording shown, its version and the time of your request. It is described in our Privacy Policy.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency may vary. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive messages as they relate to your request, your appointments and, if you opted in, our marketing messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Opt out, help and re-subscribing. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply “STOP” to any text message from us. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at office@garagedoorsheriff.com.

Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Garage Door Sheriff’s SMS messaging program.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free. The site is provided as is.

The site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that result from using this site or relying on its content.

We may change these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
